Rachel Jones

Rachel completed her general nurse training in 1994 at Arrowe Park & Clatterbridge Hospital, in the Wirral.

She joined the nursing team at Ashfields in 2008 after working for many years on the surgical wards at Leighton Hospital covering a variety of specialities including vascular, upper & lower GI and colo-rectal surgery.

Rachel primarily works in the treatment rooms providing a wide variety of services including dressings, injections, vaccinations, phlebotomy, ecg recording, ear care and health promotion screening. She also runs clinics in child immunisation, follow-up travel vaccinations and advice, cryosurgery and is branching out more into sexual health education, contraception and women’s health.

Amy Woolley

Amy recently joined the nursing team after working on the wards at Leighton Hospital.

Amy works primarily in the treatment rooms providing a wide variety of services including dressings, injections, vaccinations, phlebotomy, ECG recordings and ear care.

Lorna Timms

Lorna qualified as a nurse in 2010 where she spent the first 12 months of her career on a Complex Care ward at Leighton Hospital.  In 2011, Lorna moved into General Practice where she obtained a position as a Treatment Room nurse at Oaklands Medical Centre in Middlewich.  She became a member of the Practice Nurse’s team at Ashfields in 2015.

Lorna’s role is varied, she is one of the Diabetic Nurses, runs Treatment Room sessions, as well as the Travel Health and Baby Immunisation clinics.
