Dr Priyan Gunawardena

Dr Gunawardena joined Sandbach GPs in 2016. He has worked with the Ashfields’ Research Team since 2017 and has had experience as a Sub Investigator in a variety of research studies ranging from Phase III to Phase IV. Priyan loves skydiving, he can recite the alphabet backwards and would love to play the guitar like Jimi Hendrix!
Dr Gunawardena qualified from the University of Manchester in 2004. He completed his hospital training in Preston, Chorley and Blackpool and qualified as a GP in 2010. He has previously worked as a GP in Wigan and Chester prior to joining Ashfields.
