Parkinson’s Awareness Week

This week is about raising awareness of Parkinson’s disease. Parkinsons disease is a condition in which parts of the brain become progressively damaged over many years. The 3 main symptoms are:
- Involuntary shaking of particular parts of the body
- Slow movement
- Stiff and inflexible muscles
A person living with Parkinsons disease can also experience a wide rage of other physical and psychological symptoms.
If you are concerned that you may have symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, book an appointment with your GP.
